Kate Evan-Hughes

Kate Evan-Hughes is the Strategic Director for Together for Families at Cornwall Council, responsible for protecting and supporting children and families and securing optimal outcomes for children and young people across Cornwall.

She joined Cornwall Council in February 2020, having previously served as Chief Education Officer at Pembrokeshire County Council in Wales from 2013 to 2020. She holds a Master's degree in Additional Needs from the Open University and began her career teaching children who were hearing impaired.

Her directorate oversees children's community health, education, and social care services under the "Together for Families" banner.
