Cornwall councillors receive a basic allowance paid to every member, plus a special responsibility allowance for those who hold senior roles such as committee chair, group leader or cabinet member. They may also reclaim travel and subsistence costs incurred on council business. Cornwall Council publishes these figures annually under the Members' Allowances Scheme.
